BlackBerry 9800 Torch UK Pricing Leaked

06 Eylül 2010
The UK pricing details for Research In Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry 9800 Torch on Vodafone’s network have been leaked across the internet, despite there currently being no official launch date for the device.

According to BlackBerry Leaks, UK consumers will have to pay anything between £20 and £40 per month for data plans, depending on the tariff they chose.

The smartphone is suggested to cost them somewhere between £49 to £399. However, users may be able to get the smartphone for free if they opt for a more expensive, and longer, contract.

The BlackBerry 9800 Torch, which is already available in the US, is off to a much slower start than that of its main competitor, the iPhone 4, which sold millions of units within the first weeks of its launch.

The device comes with a 3.2 inch 480×360 touch screen,a 5 MP camera with flash and is the first slider phone from RIM. The new BlackBerry also runs on the new BlackBerry OS 6 operating system.
